Frequently asked questions
Does the comparison tool read the password of either profile?
No. We only look up public data (followers and latest posts) for the two @s you enter, with no login and no password — even when the profile being compared isn't yours.
Does more followers mean that profile "won"?
Not necessarily. We show who has more followers, but we also highlight who has the higher engagement rate — a smaller profile with higher engagement is often worth more to a brand than a bigger one with an inflated base.
Can I compare my profile with a competitor's?
Yes. Both profiles need to be public, but they don't have to be yours — it's common to compare against a competitor in your niche.
Why does a profile sometimes return no data?
The profile may be private, may not exist, or may have hit a temporary lookup limit. In those cases we show which of the two failed, without blocking the comparison of the other.
